From the supplier: A study of the effects of population heterogeneity on minority representation in higher education is conducted. Ethnic groups are found to be better represented in some educational institutions than in others, depending on their proportions relative to a state's population. Black representation in universities is apparently tied to the racial heterogeneity of the population. Nonetheless, population heterogeneity does not seem to be an accurate predictor of minority representation in higher education.
