From the supplier: The work satisfaction and stresses experienced by faculty members during the first three years of their appointment are examined. Results show a decline in job satisfaction and an increase in job-related stress during the period studied. The factors creating these effects seem to vary over time. A clearer role definition and recognition and support are suggested as possible solutions to these problems.
