From the supplier: H.R. 1900 and its companion bill S. 984 force employers to notify staff and customers when monitoring will occur and what type of electronic monitoring will be implemented. An employee is subject to monitoring depending on his length of tenure with the company. Employees working with the company less than sixty days may be monitored randomly and without notice. The rest are allowed at least 24 hours notice but not more than 75. Those employed for more than five years are exempted.
