One machine can now perform tasks that the other can also undertake. Manufacturers will have to consider the functions that a particular machine will have to undertake and the machine's suitability for the task. For example, CNC routers are best for thicker and larger panels and multi-operation panel processing. On the other hand, point-to-point boring machines are suitable for high-speed operations on thin panels.
