From the supplier: The US wood furniture trade deficit rose 13.3% in 1995 and, for the second year, the deficit reached more than three billion US dollars. US imports also increased by 9.7%, with countries of the Pacific Rim remaining as the biggest exporters. However, the market share of Pacific Rim countries has fallen from 48% to 44% with the emergence of Canada and Mexico in the US furniture imports arena.
