From the supplier: Insurance carriers, agents and brokers will need single-entry, multi-company interface (SEMCI) or other automated systems to become the efficient and successful service and sales organizations. Speakers at an automation panel discussion, during the Council of Insurance Agents and Brokers and the National Assn of Casualty and Surety Executives 1993 meeting, described the necessity of using other downloading in data transmission systems if SEMCI is not yet available to them. Interface will enable insurers to cut expenses and personnel and still perform more efficiently than before.
