From the supplier: Poor single-mother students from a medium-sized university were chosen to participate in a study that sought to find out their views about the factors that influenced their academic success. The interview was semi-structured with the participants given enough freedom to discuss related issues not raised by the interviewer. The students cited four sociological factors and four psychological belief factors as the bases of their academic performance.
