From the supplier: IBM EduQuest is offering two new multimedia computers. Both the EduQuest 35 and EduQuest 55 facilitate the integration of multimedia into learning at the K-12 level. The machines are tailored for primary and secondary classrooms. The machines have built-in, high-resolution monitors, small footprints, and a single wall plug. Both computers have two full-size ISA expansion slots, two slots for audio and networking, and three storage device bays. The machines offer several multimedia options, including a double-speed CD-ROM drive, and an audio subsystem. The EduQuest 35 is designed as a student workstation, and can be run on a stand-alone or networked basis. The 35 runs an IBM 486SLC2 processor at 50MHz. The 55 is meant as an advanced student or teacher workstation, and is upgradeable to Pentium. Both models have been tested with EduQuest's selection of K-12 educational software.
