From the supplier: A comparison of large and small manufacturing companies' use of group technology (GT) characteristics yielded statistically insignificant differences. Business enterprises of different sizes can equally achieve a successful implementation of GT and just-in-time principles. However, it cannot be proven that small companies have a greater tendency to implement GT characteristics. In addition, it cannot be shown that small firms can implement GT characteristics with increased ease.
