From the supplier: The nesting areas of four raptor species, the Grey Eagle-Buzzard, Chimango Caracara, Crested Caracara and Red-backed Hawk, were studied to determine the effect of environmental conditions on nest structure. The nests were located at different altitudes and substrates. The Chimango and Crested Caracaras and the Eagle-Buzzard oriented their nests. The Chimango preferred ground nests or a small colony in trees, while the Grey Eagle-Buzzards set up their nests in trees and cliffs. Red-backed Hawks preferred poles, trees and bushes.
