From the supplier: Observers have noted the steady decline of TV editorials over the years. A study was conducted to determine how many TV stations air editorials and the nature of these editorials and their reasons for airing or not airing them. The results showed that 33% of the respondents said they broadcast editorials while majority did not. Of the stations who do broadcast, editorials are becoming more infrequent. The decision to editorialize is mainly influenced by station ownership and network affiliation.
