From the supplier: A theory on the wage gap between male and female workers is presented. This theory differs from the usual explanation of the gap as the result of discrimination against women workers since it maintains that the gap exists because of the occurrence of some form of biased measurement or the absence of some important variables which, had they been present, could erase the largely imaginary gap. Female job preferences especially during the initial years of employment significantly influence pay.
