Her career spans 40 years and she is responsible for the development of the Dept. of Human Development and Family Studies at Maharaja Sayajirao University. The early childhood education movement was influenced by Mahatma Ghandi and Rabindranath Tagore. She is worried about the influence of television on the young and the pressure parents place on their children to achieve academic excellence.
