From the supplier: The two main stumbling blocks in preparing a consumer class action suit are removal to federal court and achieving certification. Removal is generally held to be unfavorable to the plaintiffs, but arguments are available against each of the reasons for removal. Certification can be trickier, as California courts, in particular, have in recent years issued three decisions that establish new barriers. California law is considered throughout, but is broadly similar to that used in many states.
