From the supplier: The National Institute UK model is used in a study on how macroeconomic models may be used as policy optimization methods. Results show that such models are effective in controlling inflation through the manipulation of interest rates. A model is also developed which, although simple and easily monitored, is highly similar to a fully optimized policy. Ultimately, the results show that anticipatory behavior in case of forward-looking expectations is unnecessary since the effect of monetary policy on currency exchange already gives the status of future policy.
