From the supplier: The United Kingdom has revised its corporate tax system to reduce inefficiencies and promote international investment. The corporate tax rate has been lowered from 52% to 33%, and the advance corporation tax has been reformed. The advance corporation tax had increased the effective tax rate for US multinationals doing business in the UK. Under the revised system, US corporations can do business in Europe through a UK international headquarters company and avoid the advance corporation tax as well as avoiding withholding tax on dividends. New rules for derivatives have been developed as well.
