From the supplier: Treehouse Farms' almond production facility in Earlimart, CA, uses a manufacturing execution system (MES) to monitor production. The MES system uses four stations to collect real-time data on almond production on a bin-by-bin basis. After gathering production data, an IBM AS 400 computer analyzes the data through a Camstar Systems-supplied program called MESA.
