From the supplier: The Botany Hall at the Iowa State University of Science and Technology has been renovated and renamed after Carrie Chapman Catt, an Iowa State Alumna who was a leader in the women's suffrage movement. To raise funds for the building renovation, several women initiated a campaign to establish a Plaza of Heroines with paving bricks engraved with women achievers' names. The campaign brought in $400,000 and honored 3,000 women.
