From the supplier: Rubber compounders have sought different methods to prevent reversion, the thermal degradations of crosslinks that usually occurs when compounds are overcured. One method used is to cure at lower temperatures but this process has limitations. The chemical Perkalink 900 (Pk900) has been successfully used to prevent reversion without changing the properties of compounds. Pk900 is effective because it remains inactive until polysulfidic crosslinks begin to revert.
