From the supplier: Transportation companies have been plagued by the problem of cargo theft for years and there is no guarantee that it will be eliminated because of the simple fact that goods are difficult to protect while in transit. However, two different efforts have demonstrated that shippers and carriers are not necessarily helpless against thieves and pilferers. A brief overview of the Western States Cargo Theft Assn. and the New Jersey Police's Cargo Theft and Robbery Unit is presented.
