Despite the benefits of this service for both shippers and carriers, transportation brokers are generally regarded in a poor light by trucking companies. However, a survey of licensed transportation brokers shows that a majority of brokers are satisfied with their careers. Given a choice, many brokers say that they will still choose brokering over other professions.
