From the supplier: The Independent Insurance Agents of America has developed a number of programs targeted at establishing insurance agencies once more in the inner cities. This strategy is the result of the belief at IIAA that insurance companies have lost touch with inner-city risks because companies and branches are located in the suburbs and because inner-city conditions are no longer familiar to senior managers and underwriters. IIAA's programs addressing this problem were outlined by director of markets Michael Kline at a media briefing organized by the IIAA and the National Consumers League.
