From the supplier: Team Labs' Personal Science Laboratory (PSL) microcomputer-based laboratory allows students to take a more hands-on, interactive approach to science and mathematics. The product includes probes to measure different physical phenomena, including light, temperature, pH and motion. Accompanying software is available for third grade through junior college students. Data acquisition and display is shown in real time. The PSL lets students spend more time on pure science, instead of having to spend a substantial amount of their lab time setting up and calibrating equipment. No specialized technical knowledge is required to use the system. The PSL has allowed students to become more involved in the lab work. The PSL is highly accurate, and students have more confidence in their results. And since set-up time is reduced by such a degree, students do not mind re-doing their experiments if there is any question.
