From the supplier: The New York Times and the Washington Post published a letter written by the Unabomber, who promised to cease his criminal activities once the letter was published. Webster University Prof. Harry Cargas believes that the newspapers' decision to publish the letter was correct since it could end the Unabomber's 17 year-long activities. St. Louis Post-Dispatch editor E.F. Porter believes otherwise, noting that it has set a precedent of accenting to the demands of criminals.
