From the supplier: The growing demands of both practicing human resource managers and academicians have necessitated a more comprehensive discourse on the subject of Strategic Human Resource Management (SHRM). However, despite the large volume of published works on the topic, no concise definitions of the basic SHRM concepts have been established. In this light, a more coherent model using four clear-cut SHRM perspectives is presented. These are classified under the labels Fit, Functional, Economic and Typological.
