From the supplier: The Uniform Unclaimed Property Act provides the rules and procedures to be observed by companies in reporting abandoned property. The model law is also known as the escheat laws. It was revised in 1995 and will be published in 1996 to be entitled the Uniform Unclaimed Property Act (1995). The new act is the product of the Conference of Commissioners on Uniform State Laws and the National Assn. of Unclaimed Property Administrators.
