From the supplier: The US economy has been lauded by many international business leaders as the most competitive in the industrialized world for paradoxical reasons. This competitiveness has been attained at the price of low wages, limited worker benefits and deregulation. Furthermore, the gap between what a CEO is paid and what a factory worker earns appears to be widest in the US. The CEO is paid about 150 times more than the worker.
