From the supplier: The format change at WIBV-AM (1260 AM) does not appear to have favorable results. Listeners who sampled the radio station after its format conversion quickly shifted to old favorites. The station also logged a flat performance in spring 1996 ratings. However, station principal Tim Dorsey said this was based on only nine days in the last two weeks of Apr. 1996. Its acquisition of two very appealing syndicated weekend shows, however, may improve its audience share.
