From the supplier: European Union attorneys are able to practice in other European Union countries because of the Freedom to Provide Services and Right of Establishment articles of the 1957 Treaty of Rome but to practice local law, attorneys must qualify as attorneys in that country. American lawyers are able to practice in Brussels and Germany based on the General Agreement on Trade in Services provisions but are subject to limitations in that they can only advise on US and international law and cannot represent clients in court.
