From the supplier: The 1996 Paralympics in Atlanta, GA, is a 10-day sports competition between 3,500 athletes from 127 countries. The Paralympics is the second-largest sporting event in the world that incorporates 17 events and two demonstration sports. The event is managed by the Atlanta Paralympic Organizing Committee (APOC) which is subdivided into a Venue Management group and a Sports group. The APOC will also manage the game operations, marketing and financing of the Paralympics.
