The sale of Deutz-Fahr tractors has declined in the US. The Same tractor company recently acquired the Deutz-Fahr tractor and harvester business from Kloeckner-Humboldt-Deutz, and aims to maintain its position as the fifth largest farm equipment manufacturer in the world by recapturing the US market. Same's US distributor is AGCO, which will market Same's Agrotron and Deutz-Fahr brands of tractors.
