From the supplier: Developed countries face several constraints in forming immigration policies. First, they have to consider the unintended consequences of the policies to avoid the effect of the 1965 Immigration Act which drew immigrants not belonging to the existing nationalities in the US. Furthermore, one entry category will likely increase in number if a government closes one kind of entry category. Finally, large-scale international migrations are buried in a complex set of networks.
