From the supplier: New York, NY-based GRE Insurance Group's specialty auto division announced it will restore commissions to 15 percent for its Nevada agents, reversing a previous plan to decrease commissions to 10 percent in January 1997. The National Auto Agents Alliance (NAAA) and Auto Agents Alliance of Nevada had protested the reduction. The NAAA plans to send a letter of appreciation to GRE, but the group's president expressed lingering "nervousness" over other aspects of the GRE contract.
