From the supplier: Dental office infection control procedures need to include the exposure and developing of intraoral radiographs. Dental hygienists often do both infection control training and a great deal of radiograph development, so they can find out what would be needed. The current infection control literature offers many techniques for accomplishing asepsis in the radiography environment. Both the American Dental Assn and the American Academy of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons have radiography infection control guidelines. Other sources are listed.
