From the author: There is a need for nurse administrators to collect accurate and timely data that can be used to evaluate the effectiveness of various system and/or management interventions. The decision criteria used to judge and rank existing management evaluation tools (regarding their psychometric soundness and ease of use) is explored and reported. The goal of this project was to develop a portfolio of useful instruments that could be recommended to nurse administrators. Consensus voting decisions resulted in the selection of a variety of targeted instruments to be included in the recommended category.
