This prompted school districts in the US to adopt inclusive practices. However, without adequate training and support, regular education teachers may find it difficult to handle disabled students. An annotated bibliography that presents books and other literature on such topics as recognizing children's special needs, collaborating with special education personnel and adapting the curriculum is presented to help regular education teachers cope with special education teaching.
