From the supplier: A report on the daily activity based on vocal, flying, and foraging activity and flock size of the Maroon-belied Parakeet (Phyrrhura frontalis) and Plain Parakeet (Brotogeris tirica), two parakeet species commonly thriving in the Atlantic forest, southeastern Brazil was presented. Results demonstrate that the two parakeet species have varied daily activity and flock size in terms of time and season. Future studies that focus on the distribution patterns of daily flock sizes with respect to the environmental and physiological determinants of avian circadian rhythms are recommended.
