From the supplier: Airbag replacement fraud must be watched for by claims adjusters. The airbag control module constantly monitors the system. It can be electronically tested for proper operation through turning on the vehicle and watching it go through a diagnostic routine whichs turns on an indicator light on the dashboard. Replacing airbags is expensive and can cost between $750 and $8,400.
