From the supplier: A basket project has led to immense economic and educational progress in Catdang, Vietnam. Charles Miller, an American teacher who came to Catdang for a vacation pitied the poverty of the schools in the village. This prompted him to encourage the students to mass produce baskets which he could sell in Japan. The small enterprise grew big and soon well-equipped schools were mushrooming in Catdang. Later, with assistance from a computer company, the children of Catdang obtained access to Internet.
