From the supplier: Polymer blends provide an economical way to make thermoplastic elastomers. By properly selecting polymers and other compounding ingredients, the compounder can produce a final product with many desirable attributes. It is normally easiest to produce two-phase blends, with co-continuous phases and without such phases. In comparison to simple blends, blends dynamically crosslinked to thermoplastic vulcanizates provide major property improvements.
