From the supplier: Three major additives used in rubber product manufacturing are amides, natural synthetic resins, and peptizers. Amides are derived from ammonia and amine nitrogen-related compounds and are used to decrease static electricity. Natural synthetic resins come from thermal polymerization of petroleum residues and are used to homogenize rubber compound ingredients. Peptizers are radical acceptors, and remove free radicals that form during milling and mixing.
