From the supplier: Research was conducted to study the future of real estate in investment portfolios. Examination of two ways of real estate investment, namely, systematic and unsystematic showed the difficulties and the risks entailed in investing in real estate. Findings suggest that the most attractive way to invest in real estate is by investing in real estate investment trusts. However, investments in real estate may provide diversification benefits but they do not substitute for ownership of real property.
