From the supplier: The design for the windows of the Sacre-Coeur de Montmartre, where construction was begun in 1870, provide links between counter-revolution and the political and spiritual history of France. Several windows replicated the message given to Marguerite-Marie Alacoque that France had a special part in a divine plan. Louis XIV's failure to comply with this plan is the reason given for France's decline.
