From the supplier: A survey of the adoption the waste management practices of animal products producers in North Carolina found that larger-scale operators achieve better animal waste management. Results indicate differences in the attitude and behaviors of producer groups. Poultry growers seem decided on their waste management system while most swine and dairy farmers are willing to change and appear more receptive to information and assistance. Beef cattle producers are the least affected by animal waste management regulations and are less likely to practice systematic waste storage and disposal.
