From the supplier: The study of psychology and ethics should be a distinct discipline called psychoethics for several reasons. There is a positive association between the ethical nature of a decision and the psychological background of the decision maker. Results of a study of four individuals highlight the relationship between psychological theory and ethical, moral development. Moreover, studies may be developed to determine what psychological traits may lead to unethical decision making and how these characteristics may be altered to ensure more ethical decision making.
