From the supplier: The future seems to be ambiguous for unlicensed accountants because of differences in state laws regarding such accountants and the focus that is being placed on the Uniform Accountancy Act as well as the move to accelerate its adoption nationwide. However, the accounting profession is experiencing a paradigm shift with a financial field that is growing quickly and the trend of CPAs toward diversifying and enlarging the scope of their services. This may mean that unlicensed accountants may find their niche within the profession.
