From the supplier: A total of 138 students enrolled in a business communications course at a historically black college participated in a study which examined African-American students' willingness to use computer-mediated communication in their learning process. The students were required to use the Internet while working on a global communications project on a certain country's political and demographic aspects. Results of a survey on the students' reactions to the project showed that most of the participants appreciated the use of electronic mail and the Internet in the project.
