From the supplier: The difficulty of justifying new technology projects makes it necessary that the task be jointly undertaken by managers, financial specialists and engineers. Concerted effort is required since traditional methods of project justification have proven ineffective. In addition, the justification process has been made more difficult by the types of projects involved, the complexity of their benefits, and the existence of opportunity costs. Suggestions for effective project justification are discussed.
