From the supplier: There is increasing evidence that higher levels of Insulin-Like Growth-Factor 1 (IGF-1), the hormone used to stimulate milk production in cows treated with recombinant Bovine Growth Hormone (rBGH), have been reported in people with breast, prostrate and colon cancer. Lobbying to establish labeling laws similar to those in Illinois that allow companies to market products nationwide as rBGH-free, should be promoted in other states.
