From the supplier: A study was conducted to provide additional proof on the validity of the Task and Ego Orientation in Sport Questionnaire (TEOSQ). The questionnaire was cross-validated with a scale following the rigorous structural equation modeling (SEM) approach. Information gathered from a sampling of college students were calibrated. The results were in consonance with the two-factor orthogonal structure of the task and ego orientations. Application of the SEM technique likewise confirmed the validity of the TEOSQ for measuring task and ego orientation.
